About

Fluidra is a global leader in pool and wellness solutions, operating multiple brands including Zodiac, Jandy, and Astral Pool across more than 45 countries. As the company has grown through acquisitions and global expansion, so has the complexity of managing brand and product content across the markets and regions it serves. Faced with fragmented systems, siloed teams, and no reliable system of record for digital assets, Fluidra embarked on a digital transformation, strategically deploying Bynder as the operational foundation for enterprise-wide change.

Why Fluidra is a winner

Fluidra's Bynder implementation sets a benchmark for DAM-driven digital transformation done right. Rather than rushing to deploy, the team built a governance foundation first: taxonomy, metadata standards, and user roles were defined before broad rollout, with stakeholders from marketing, digital, brand, and regional teams involved from the outset. Change management and training were treated as priorities equal to the technology itself.

The results in under a year are remarkable: 180,000+ assets consolidated, 400+ active users onboarded, and a full suite of Bynder solutions—AI Search, Content Workflow, Studio, and PIM integrations—already embedded into daily operations. With CX Omnichannel and CX User Communities actively rolling out, and two major regional migrations (US and Australia) on the roadmap, Fluidra is well on its way to a fully unified global digital ecosystem, transforming content into a real competitive advantage.

Winning the digital shelf means publishing accurate, complete, and compelling content fast — and that's exactly the infrastructure we're building with Bynder."

How Fluidra uses Bynder

Before Bynder, assets were scattered across personal drives, shared folders, email threads, and a poorly adopted legacy DAM, with product assets stored in a disconnected PIM system. Teams operated in silos with no way to verify whether content was up to date, approved, or brand-compliant.

The transformation with Bynder addressed this systematically with its robust governance capabilities, configured to support Fluidra's multi-brand, multi-market structure. A dedicated internal DAM Academy, user documentation, and onboarding sessions tailored by department and region drove rapid adoption from day one.

Assets in Bynder are now automatically synchronized to adjacent systems across Fluidra’s digital ecosystem every 15 minutes, ensuring downstream channels like its website always reflect the latest approved content.

Labels for chemical products require sign-off from designers, marketers, and compliance teams; each reviewing different elements, with non-compliance carrying the risk of regulatory inspections, product recalls and fines. Using Content Workflow, review tasks are assigned, feedback is left directly on assets, versions are compared in context, and nothing progresses without the right approval—cutting the process time roughly in half.

Studio has also reduced agency dependency, giving local teams editable templates for translations and regional adaptations while protecting brand-critical elements. AI Search has Accelerated discovery across a library of this scale, with teams reporting 80% faster search times compared to before.

Bynder’s PIM integrations are critical for Fluidra's content supply chain. With Bynder connected to inRiver and a Salsify integration underway, product visuals are always linked to accurate product data, a capability that proved essential during the launch of Fluidra's new eSales and brand website platforms, where large volumes of assets needed to be rapidly prepared and published across e-commerce channels.

Ultimately, teams now know exactly where to find approved assets, workflows are structured and transparent, and brand governance has improved significantly across regions and channels.

What the judges say

"Transitioning from fragmented systems to a consolidated ecosystem of 180,000+ assets is a challenge that Fluidra executed with precision. The most striking metric—an 80% reduction in search time—is a definitive indicator of success. With over 400 active users, this implementation is a masterclass in change management and user adoption."
